Four Kinds of Sentences
Declarative- tells something. End in a period.
(Ex: I have a dog named Rocky.)
Interrogative- asks a question. Ends in a question
mark. (Ex: Do you have any pets?)
Imperative- gives a command or tells someone to
do something. Ends in a period usually, or an exclamation mark if showing
strong feeling. (Ex: Please feed the dog.)
Exclamatory- shows strong feeling or emotion.
Ends in an exclamation mark. (Ex: Wow! How big your pet dog is!)
