Each 6th grader has received new pages to record grades in his/her data folder and is expected to keep these folders organized and up-to-date.
If we are out of school for inclement weather, we will pick up in class right where we would have left off. (So, if there is a quiz or test planned for the day we miss, the students will still have that assessment when we return; however, if we are not here for more than one day and an assessment was planned or a project was due for a certain date, those dates are subject to change according to the days missed.)
6th grade will begin the winter session of MAP testing next week (January 25th-29th). Again, we will test in the areas of Reading, Language, Math, and Science for approximately 60 minute sessions once per day. Please make sure your child gets plenty of rest and eats a healthy breakfast each morning.
