Curriculum Night Info

Curriculum Night at the 4-6 Campus is next Thursday, August 27 at 6:00. The sixth grade parents will meet in the cafeteria. If you are unable to attend, here is some helpful information:

Curriculum Night Information

Data Notebooks: The “Data Notebooks” are purple folders that the students will use all year to record academic and behavioral information. Students will bring home their Data Notebooks every Friday afternoon to review them together with their parents. Please sign on the calendar page in the specified place, and return it to school each Monday. Data Notebooks include important information such as attendance, AR points, a behavioral record sheet, grade records for each class, and STAR reading and math scores.

Behavior System: The school-wide theme this year is “Bringing out the CHRIST in me!” and the students will be able to earn various rewards throughout the year for displaying exemplary behavior that goes along with this theme! The students also record this on their “Offense/Reward” sheet in the Data Notebook to help keep parents informed.

Conferences: In order to make it more convenient for you, we have various options set up for conferences. We will all be available for a group conference with you and your child if you feel it is necessary. The official conferences will be held in September, and we are also available to meet with you any time throughout the year if needed. *Please check your e-mail soon for an invitation from www.Sign-UpGenius.com.

***These conferences are not mandatory, and they are not limited to being in-person. Please contact the teacher if you are unable to come to the conference and would like an update on how your child is doing in that class. We want to be respectful of your time as well, so we are also available for phone or e-mail conferences. Thank you!
